Explore Brasov Mountains - Day trekking tour

When we speak about Brasov Mountains, we are referring to Piatra Mare Mountains and Postavarul Mountains, both massifs being located nearby the city of Brasov. Tourists have come to hike in these mountains since the 19th century. 

Piatra Mare Mountains looks like a mild ridge with a maximum elevation of 1,850 m, while Postavarul Mountains looks like a towered ridge with a highest elevation of 1,799 m displaying extraordinary landscapes and a spectacular relief.

Given their accessibility, these two mountains are highly visited by tourists, but even so, they still show some wild scenery of a special beauty and a significant scientific value. Brasov Mountains are covered with broadleaf, coniferous or mixt forests, and also alpine and mountain grass lands where tourists will discover and admire local mammals and birds’ habitats.

There are also quite a few hiking and climbing trails to be explored and we invite you all to do this with us. The trails will be chosen to match the tourists’ physical fitness and technical abilities.
