Explore Bucegi Mountain - Day trekking tour
Possibly ones of the most visited mountains in Romania, Bucegi Mountains stretch down along the right side of Prahova Valley forming one of the most representative individuality, geographic and touristic, among Romanian Carpathians due to their complex relief, exquisite landscapes and traditional trading activities.
Bucegi Mountains unfold to the Eastern side of the Southern Carpathians (Carpatii Meridionali) being also part of them. They are shaped like a horse shoe, covering approximately 300 sqm. Due to their average elevation of 2,000 m, Bucegi Mountains display both impressive and abrupt slopes towards East and West and also high peaks reaching up to 2,505, such as Omu Peak.
All their flanks are covered with broadleaf, coniferous or mixt forests, and also alpine and mountain grass extended areas where local mammals and birds are visible for tourists to discover. Bucegi Mountains are filled with numerous hiking and climbing trails, which we invite you all to explore along with us. The trails will be chosen to match the tourists’ physical fitness and technical abilities.
