Explore Baiului Mountain - Day trekking Tour
Baiului Mountains are part of Curvature Carpathians, being situated at their Western extremity and neighbouring Bucegi Mountains. They have a mild main ridge with round edges and secondary ridges going out towards East and West. Their highest elevation is 1,908 m in Baiul Mare peak, which is oriented from North to South.
The steep flanks of the valleys make out a difficult start during ascension, but after a while, the highest you go the easier it gets. Baiului Mountains are covered with broadleaf, coniferous or mixt forests, and also alpine and mountain grass lands where local mammals and birds are visible for tourists to admire.
There are also numerous hiking and climbing trails, which we invite you all to explore along with us. The trails will be chosen to match the tourists’ physical fitness and technical abilities.
